What you can expect from the app during the beta, and what it expects of you.
These are interim beta terms, not a finished agreement. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer. Full terms reviewed by counsel will replace them before the app is available outside the beta.
This is unfinished software
You are using a private beta. Things will break, reminders may not arrive, and features will change or disappear. Do not rely on it for anything that matters — medication, a medical appointment, a deadline with consequences. It is a practice tool for ordinary routines, not a safety system.
Who may use it
You must be an adult with parental responsibility for the child whose profile you create. One household, the children in it, and the grown-ups who look after them.
You are agreeing on your child's behalf, which is why the app records that you did and when.
What we ask of you
- Set it up for a child you are responsible for, and no one else.
- Do not put anything in it you would not want stored — a diagnosis, an address, anything sensitive. There is nowhere in this app that needs it.
- Do not try to reach another family's data. There is no such route, and looking for one is not testing.
- Tell us when something breaks. That is the point of a beta.
What the app will not do
It will not show your child adverts, put them in touch with strangers, publish anything about them, or sell what it knows. Those are product commitments, not a legal formula, and they are described in the privacy notice.
Stopping
You can leave whenever you like. From Settings you can export everything and then delete it. Deleting removes your family's records rather than merely hiding them.
We may end the beta, or your part in it, at any time. If that happens we will tell you first and give you time to export.
The honest limitation
Beta software is provided as it is. We cannot promise it will work, that reminders will arrive, or that nothing will be lost — and a reviewed agreement will say so in the language lawyers use. Saying it plainly now seems better than saying nothing until then.
